DavCo has created a collection of customer files to be shared or transferred over the internet. This is a subscription-only service. These files are stored on a secure website and can only be accessed with a username and password.
No. In 2006 DavCo began offering a FTP (file transfer protocol) based subscription service to allow our customers to distribute their files over the internet. FTP requires use of a special program to access files and does not allow file previews in most instances. In 2010, we moved to a basic web-browser based service for file sharing. In 2014 we upgraded to the user-friendly web-browser-based file sharing service we are currently offering. Those who have been subscribers for a long time might still refer to their “FTP Site.”
The files that are shared by our subscribers are primarily print projects for which DavCo has done the photography, graphic design and printing, but we will post customer supplied files provided proper copyright consent has been secured. The files posted are generally 300dpi RGB JPG files and proof-quality PDFs.
If you need a higher resolution image or PDF, or a different file format than what is supplied on a subscriber’s file sharing site, please contact the file sharing subscriber and ask him/her to contact his/her DavCo sales representative. Please be as specific as possible when making a special request so we can be sure to get exactly what you need. We do not distribute customer files without permission.
We make every effort to keep our customers’ file sharing sites up to date, but occasionally, we miss uploading files. Please let us know what you believe to be missing. Click here to email us.
Product lines are bound to change over time. Subscribers generally keep only the most current version of their catalog posted on their site. If you need a file from a previous version of the catalog, please contact your supplier directly.
DavCo’s file sharing service is primarily for distributing files that were created by DavCo for a particular customer. We might occasionally include customer-supplied files if a subscriber requests and gives consent to distribute. If one of our subscribers would like photos or PDFs that were not created by DavCo to be uploaded to his/her site for sharing, those requests must come directly from the subscriber and go through his/her DavCo sales representative.
Please contact your supplier to request these files. Ask him/her to contact his/her DavCo sales representative to get one started.
Please contact your supplier directly to request login information. If your supplier does not have a file sharing site, ask him/her to contact his/her DavCo sales representative to learn more about becoming a subscriber.
The file sharing site is for downloading only. Subscribers who want photos or PDFs that were not created by DavCo to be added to their site must contact their DavCo sales representative. Consent to distribute must be secured from the content creator(s) prior to upload.
Please contact the file sharing subscriber directly and ask him/her to resupply login information.
It is possible that the subscription has been discontinued, or that the username or password have changed. Please double check that you are entering the username and password correctly. If the issue persists, please contact the file sharing subscriber directly to get current login information.
